Crap 💩
Кто это???
My heart hurts in the most beautiful way for this song
개판이네 역시 리즈시절 따로잇네
Stanley plays the piano on a guitar neck
He is always at least playing the part of three musicians, at a minimum. Nobody is close to his unique ability.
This dude is so darn good...I wish his live performances were on record
I was blessed to see him here twice before I moved to Honduras. So lucky.
The definitive version
Fenomeno
The first time where i saw Charnett Moffett it was in the 90's with Ornette Coleman and Denardo ; what a bass player !!!
He says my Name 🫶 I just discovered this tonight ..I really like him!
and now one more year!
Ethereal. 🥹
5:46 why he have to try to be a basic guitar player with a pick for a minute...
Still relevant and exceptional. Would have liked to see him and Prince perform together.
This guy has perfected his craft, a true brother of the arts, a gem to behold for mankind
I don't like when he plays conventionally. It takes away from his mystique. Very few people in the world (if ANYONE) can tap like he can. Random clowns can approach him with pick playing.
Great!!!!!! I love... As a musician ❤❤❤❤😂😂
There's Vaughan Clapton Hendrix and a host of other masters but NOW THERE'S JORDAN . . . WOW!
Has he become transgender?
They just might let him play that at Guitar Center.
This goes too far 🤯
Is he trans
And he RUINS the end.......I HATE "over playing"
He needs to use a les paul..the tone sucks
I believe this is the ONLY version of Stairway allowed to be played at Guitar Center
What's going on? I was watching this guy well over 30 years ago and his effects board was all foot activated. Him screwing around with it by hand is distracting, unprofessional and just, weird?
His tapping style is more like playing piano on the guitar. Like many other great musicians you only get one Stanley Jordan.
If you want to listen jazz guitar go for Joe Pass and jazz piano Roland Hanna. If you like freakness more than music go for Stanley Jordan.
Absolutely splendid
Stanley Clark & Stanley Jordan it’s like the same soul playing their instruments
I believe I first saw him busking in NYC in front of the library at Fifth Ave. and 42nd Street at lunch time . In 1980 ! And at many shows since . Never disappoints !
When the drummer has never heard "Stairway to heaven" 3:55
"How can less be more? That's impossible, more is more." Yngwie Malmsteen
i disagree....beethoven was the MASTER of a thing called SILENCE...its a powerful musical tool. Just because you can--doesn't always mean you should
@@markfrost2707 Beethoven's best work is the silent parts
@@Mike-bp2hhSays a lot about someone when the best thing they can do is stop playing lol
Needs more notes
perfect example of not limiting your ideas to the technology of your time man was playing music for the future most new bands try to replicate this throughout genres
to say that these guys know what they're doing is an understatement
Пох то что трависти, но ежли взялся играть, играй а не лажу гони. Пальцы путаются, так упрости игру ведь не тянешь.
Sorry but that sukked big time
Holy shit !! What did I just watch ? Stunning and beautiful . Mind blowing .
Stanley Jordan was probably like Mozart in “Amadeus” when Stanley worked out this arrangement. “Well, that’s nice. But it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Hmm. Did you try this?” then he blew the lid off the original. Meanwhile Jimmy Page seethed with anger.
Stanley’s got nothing on Scotty Mishoe!
Stanley is a mind-blowingly talented and original guitarist. Like, no kidding huh? But by his impossibly high standards this performance seems a little sloppy to me. He's flubbed quick a few notes and there's some buzzing with his left hand. Just not quite on his game this night I'd say.
Ahhhhhhhhhh! THE FORBIDDEN SONG!! In public also!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Not for me, sounds wack.
First thought it was a bass until the 2nd solo then realized it's a stand up piano on the 3rd solo!
Stanka Džordan.
Cool...yawn. his style is as dated as it already was by 1995. Nice to see Bernard and charnette killing it though.
And yet you see a lot of younger guitarists starting to play this way. EVH tap wanking is dated. Stanley's paino style tap runs sound pretty forward thinking still
@@michaelgraham9774legions of young guitarists have been "starting to play this way" for the last 40yrs...and yet very few have made it any less 'meh'. I will admit that I would probably still be listening to Stanley's recordings occasionally if I did not despise his tone and was impressed by his improvisations(I'm not). ...Then there's Michael Hedges (rip) who emerged around the same time, took a somewhat similar approach, different style and genre of course, but always sounded amazing and never fell out of favor with my ears. It's cool that people like yourself are just now discovering Stanley; it's silly to see all the super fanbois who feel the need to keep white knighting for him.
Wonderful
